Big City Level Entertainment Services in Rural Alberta

Last week, Carstairs council approved the subdivision of just over 14 hectares for the first phase of Carlinton Estates, to be developed by Calgary based Integrity Wealth Group. Carlinton will become one of the first rural communities in Alberta to provide Fibre Optic high-speed Internet services to its residents.

Naeco Communications, also Calgary based, will provide the Fibre optic Internet to Carlinton Estates, granting speeds of up to 10 times faster than existing cable and phone line based Internet. These services offer unique online opportunities, such as television viewing, surveillance systems, and video on demand.  A wireless “mesh” network will also be available to all Carlinton residents from absolutely anywhere within the subdivision. Keeping Carstairs on the forefront of technology, 
this is big city level entertainment that will support and enhance the rapid growth of this community.
